Best New Group: Hawkwind. Lemmy's band prior to Motorhead. I bought a couple of there cd's but I really prefer the HW mix at youtube.

Best re-discovered albums: BOC: Tyranny and Mutation. No "Reaper" or "Godzilla" just g.o.rnr.
And: Aerosmith's "Live Bootleg" (the striped one with the coffee stain on the cover.) Aerosmith at their best, imo. So, another tally mark for the former prime minister and his early-is-better-than-later theory of band evolution.
